OkiOki tries to automate as much as possible for you. For example, it also tries to recognise via OCR on an invoice that it is paid by direct debit. In the invoice below, for example, it recognises the text "Factuur gedomicilieerd met ref."
As soon as OkiOki knows that an invoice is direct debit, it will automatically snooze it for you (for a period of 2 weeks) and not mark it as to-do.
As soon as the direct debit transaction is executed by your bank and appears in OkiOki, OkiOki will link this transaction with the snoozed invoice. That way, it will work this invoice away in the background. Once the link is established, it will also send this invoice to your accountant.
Should the transaction not appear within the snooze period (2 weeks), OkiOki will unsnooze the invoice and it will still appear on your to-do list. This may occur, for example, when the balance on your account was insufficient and the direct debit could not be carried out by the bank. This way, we avoid leaving you with an unpaid invoice and avoid possible fines.
Summary
1. Domiciled invoice arrives
2. OkiOki snoozes it for 2 weeks (and so it does not appear on your to-do list)
3. Payment is made and the transaction arrives in OkiOki
4. OkiOki links the transaction with the invoice and your invoice
Tip
Should OkiOki not recognise your invoice as domiciled, please deliver this invoice to support@okioki.be and they will make OkiOki a bit smarter for you again so that it does in the future.
