When you identify yourself with Itsme at OkiOki, you must confirm in the Itsme application that you want to register with OkiOki and that you want to share certain data for this purpose. On a mobile phone/smartphone, this process may go wrong.
Why?
On mobile phones, this process may go wrong because the feedback from the Itsme application is displayed by your mobile phone in the "standard browser" of your device.
However, if you started the registration in a browser other than the browser that is set as your standard browser, the registration flow may go wrong.
What do you need to adjust?
Ideally, you start your registration in the "standard browser" that is set on your smartphone. If you prefer to use a different browser, you can set that other browser as the standard browser.
For example, users of the Samsung Internet browser can choose to set Google Chrome as the standard browser.
On android:
- Open Settings. on your Android device.
- Tap Apps.
- Under General, tap Default apps or Choose default apps.
- Tap Browser app.
- Select the browser you want to use.
On iOS:
- Go to Settings and scroll down until you see the Browser app or Email app.
- Tap the app, then tap Default browser app or Default Mail app.
- Select a browser or email app to set it as the default. A check mark will appear to confirm that it is the default.
