In the My login methods section, you choose how you want to sign in to OkiOki. You can enable multiple methods for extra flexibility, such as username and password, itsme or
Google . This way, you can simply use the sign‑in method that suits you best.
Tip: if possible, OkiOki recommends signing in with itsme or
Google . These methods are usually better protected (for example with two‑factor authentication), and you don’t have to remember a separate OkiOki password.
There must always be at least one login method active.
1. Where to find your login methods
1.1. Where to find your login methods
You can open the My login methods page in two ways:
Via the app
- Log in to OkiOki.
- Go to My account.
- Select App settings.
- Scroll down to the My login methods section.
Via a direct link

With Username & password, you can:
- change your password;
- update your e‑mail address (username);
- switch off password login (if at least one other method is still active, such as itsme or Google).
Note: your e‑mail address is always your username in OkiOki. If you switch off password login, you can only sign in with itsme or Google. You can always set a new password later.
Do you use itsme or Google as your main login? In that case, a password is still useful as a backup, in case itsme or Google temporarily doesn’t work.

2.5. Switching off password login
- In My login methods, click Deactivate next to Username & password.
- Enter your password to confirm.
- Is at least one other login method active (itsme or Google)? Then we’ll switch off password login.

5. FAQ
5.1. Which login method do you recommend?
If you have the choice, we recommend signing in with itsme or Google.
- These accounts are usually better protected (for example with 2FA).
- You don’t need to remember an extra OkiOki password.
- You reduce the risk of using the same password in multiple places.
Don’t have itsme or Google, or prefer not to use them?
Then you can, of course, just sign in with username and password.
5.2. Why can’t I link itsme or Google?
You first need a password login. Set a password under My login methods and then try again.
5.3. I can’t switch off a login method. Why?
You can only switch off a login method if at least one other method remains active. Is it your last method? First add another login method.
5.4. I switched off password login and now I can’t change itsme/Google. Why?
Without a password login, you can’t:
- link / change itsme or Google;
- switch off itsme or Google.
First set a password again via Username & password → Set password. After that, you can manage itsme and Google again.
5.5. I don’t receive an e‑mail to change my password or confirm my e‑mail. What now?
- Check your spam / junk folder.
- Verify that you’re using the correct e‑mail address in OkiOki.
- Wait a few minutes and, if needed, try again.
Still no e‑mail? Then contact OkiOki support.
5.6. I changed my password or e‑mail and I’m logged out everywhere. Is that correct?
Yes. For this type of change, OkiOki deliberately logs you out on all your devices for security reasons. Then you simply sign back in with your new details.
5.7. Why do I have to enter my password to link, change or switch off itsme or Google?
This confirms it’s really you. By asking for your OkiOki password for these actions, we prevent someone who has access to your device from changing your login methods.
5.8. I get a message that my Google account is already linked.
That account is already linked to another OkiOki subscription.
You can then:
- use a different Google account, or
- first remove the Google link in that other subscription, and then link it here.
