With self-billing, your customer creates the invoice in your name. You receive it via Peppol in UBL format (legally valid). In OkiOki, the self-billing invoice is automatically detected and processed in your administration.
Did you know?
If an e-invoice does not include a PDF, OkiOki automatically generates a
PDF preview, so you can always open and read it easily.
What does OkiOki do (and not do)?
- Yes: receive, read, archive, and automatically share self-billing invoices with your accountant.
- No: create or send self-billing invoices.
Requirements
- Your customer sends invoices via Peppol.
- Your OkiOki account is active and you have connected your mailbox and bank for automatic matching.
How does it work in OkiOki?
- Your customer sends a self-billing invoice via Peppol.
- OkiOki detects and reads the invoice automatically.
- Missing a PDF? OkiOki generates a PDF preview for you.
- The invoice appears under Documents and links automatically once the transaction is received.
- Your accountant automatically receives the documents.
Limitations & notes
- In OkiOki, you cannot create or send self-billing invoices.
- Unusual references may delay automatic matching.
- Always check the VAT rate and total amount. If they are incorrect, ask your customer to send a correction.
Note:
From 2026, self-billing invoices in PDF will no longer be accepted.
Using Peppol/UBL ensures full legal compliance.
