OkiOki helps you keep an overview by automatically linking invoices and receipts to your bank transactions. This way, you can quickly see what has already been paid and what is still outstanding.
What information does OkiOki use?
For each link, OkiOki looks at a few key details:
Amount
Date
Reference (e.g., structured communication or invoice number)
Counterparty (name of customer or supplier)
Based on this, OkiOki determines how likely it is that a document belongs to a specific transaction.
Stricter and safer since 5 February 2026
We mainly want to avoid incorrect links that later cause extra work. That’s why the way OkiOki matches has been made stricter on purpose since 5 February 2026.
Only “full matches” are linked automatically
OkiOki will only link a document automatically to a transaction if there is an almost perfect match:
The amount matches almost completely
a maximum difference of 5 cents is still accepted (for example, due to rounding).
The reference is clear and recognizable
for example, a structured communication or invoice number that appears on the bank transaction.
The date of the payment is logical in relation to the invoice or due date.
The name of the counterparty is consistent with the customer or supplier on the invoice.
In that case, OkiOki links automatically: you don’t have to do anything.
What if there is doubt?
If one or more elements do not match well enough:
a bigger difference in amount,
no clear reference,
a suspicious date or counterparty,
… then OkiOki is cautious:
OkiOki does not link automatically.
In some cases, you will still receive a suggestion, but you decide whether the document and transaction really belong together.
In this way, OkiOki maintains the balance between user convenience and accounting reliability:
where the match is clear, the linking is automatic,
where there is doubt, you remain in control.
