How to connect a Yahoo mailbox using an app-specific password

To connect a Yahoo mailbox with OkiOki, you need to create an app-specific password in your Yahoo mail account. This password will only give your OkiOki app access to your Yahoo mailbox. If you later remove your app-specific password in your Yahoo account, OkiOki will also no longer have access to your mailbox.

How does it work?

1. Log in to your Yahoo account
2. Go to 'Security'
3. Go to 'External connections'
4. Click on 'Create app password'
5. Enter the name of the app: 'OkiOki'
6. Copy the app-specific password
7. Go to your OkiOki account
8. Go to 'Connections' and then to 'Mailbox'
9. Click on 'Yahoo!'
10. Enter your username (your email address)
11. Paste your app-specific password in the password field.
12. Click on 'Connect'
13. Now choose from which moment you want OkiOki to retrieve invoices from your Yahoo mailbox
