The easiest way to digitize your invoice or receipts is to take a photo with the OkiOki app. But you can also digitize your invoices with your office scanner or your favorite scanning app and then effortlessly deliver them to OkiOki. You can then always email them to your personal OkiOki email address or drop them in a cloud storage folder that you have linked to OkiOki. Whichever way you choose, all your invoices will automatically end up in your OkiOki archive.
Taking a photo with the OkiOki app
With the mobile OkiOki app on your smartphone you can take a photo of your paper invoices.
On your dashboard you can click on 'Add document' at the bottom and then you will be given the choice to take a photo or upload an existing photo or document.
Taking a photo with another scanning app
If you take a photo with a cloud storage app such as OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox, you can save your document from these apps to their cloud folder. If you have linked this cloud folder with OkiOki, these documents will automatically arrive in OkiOki.
If you take a photo with another scanning app, you can usually either send the digital file from this app to your OkiOki e-mail address or a linked cloud storage folder, or you can save the document on your smartphone and then upload it in the OkiOki app.
Taking a photo with your smartphone camera app
Of course you can always take a photo with the standard camera app of your smartphone and then upload it into the OkiOki app.
Digitizing with a scanner or printer
If you want to digitize a series of invoices at the same time, you can also do so with a scanner or printer. This scanner or printer will then merge the individual invoices into one PDF document, which you can then upload into OkiOki. When uploading OkiOki, don't forget to split the PDF back into separate invoices. You can easily do that with our 'Split & group' feature.
