For a START subscription, we always provide identification via itsme during registration.
This allows us to automatically verify the client's identity and grant them access to the PEPPOL network.
If the client doesn't use itsme, the OkiOki support team can manually verify the client's identity. The procedure to follow is as follows:
- The accountant adds the client to the accountant portal (with a Start subscription).
- OkiOki schedules a KYC video call (identity verification) with the client. For this, we require an extract from the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (CBE) proving that the client is the managing director of the company. During this video call, the client shows us their ID to prove they are indeed the managing director.
- During the video call, OkiOki invites the client (via the accountant portal) to get started with OkiOki Start.
- The client begins by creating the account. They must pass the first screen where they must create a password. Then, they stop at itsme.
- OkiOki then confirms the client's identity.
- The client can now continue, skipping the itsme step.
