Entrepreneurs: You now get smarter suggestions for invoice lines and product codes. Document photos are automatically straightened. If you mark an invoice as “Paid”, we close it immediately so your to-do list stays clean. If you work with multiple business units, you can now easily filter your invoice list. You can also connect your ING Netherlands and Knab account, so we can automatically import your transactions.
Accountants: Connect Dropbox Business team folders and let documents be routed automatically to the right client. When Peppol rejects an invoice, we send clear notifications, even for invoices created outside OkiOki. OkiOkiSync automatically resumes after short login or network interruptions, so documents keep flowing to your local server.
🚀 Key features
Smarter suggestions when invoicing
More relevant suggestions while you type the description and product code, with up to 30 scrollable options.
Document photos automatically straightened
We automatically straighten skewed document photos using OCR (optical character recognition).
Connect ING Netherlands
Your ING NL account is now available as a bank connection. Once you give permission, we import your transactions, just like we do for other banks.
🆕 New features
Invoicing
Better suggestions for product code and description
Suggestions now match on individual words in your text, even if there are extra spaces or hyphens. The list shows up to 30 scrollable suggestions so you can quickly find the right item, even when codes are similar or descriptions are long. You select a suggestion with your mouse or keyboard and move on.
E-invoicing (Peppol)
Notifications for rejections, including external invoices
If an e-invoice is rejected, we send a clear email to the configured addresses. We do this as well for invoices sent with another tool, as long as OkiOki manages your Peppol connection. We attach the full Peppol response so you can immediately see what went wrong.
Document management
Automatic image straightening
Document photos are automatically rotated based on the detected text direction. If the angle is between -45° and +45°, we leave the image as it is; otherwise we rotate it 90°, -90° or 180°. This makes documents easier to read and saves manual work, for example for invoices and receipts you capture with your phone.
Filter by business unit
If you work with multiple business units, you can now filter by business unit in your invoice list. That helps you keep an overview and work more efficiently.
To-do
Automatic completion when marked “Paid”
If you mark an invoice as “Paid” when you create it, we automatically set it to “Completed”. It won’t appear in your to-do list, so your list stays clean. “Partially paid” stays open until you complete it. If you marked it incorrectly, just adjust the invoice afterwards.
Banking and payments
Extra support for Dutch banks
You can now connect your ING Netherlands or Knab bank account to OkiOki. Once you give permission, we automatically import every transaction, just like with your other bank connections.
OkiOki for accountants
Dropbox team folders
You can now connect Dropbox Business team folders. Select one or more team folders as a source and let colleagues place documents there; OkiOki automatically picks them up and sends them to the right client. Permissions from Dropbox are respected and we don’t change your folder structure. This is useful if you work with fixed folders per client or per accounting package.
Client-specific OkiOkiSync improvements
For several accounting firms, we’ve made optimisations to OkiOkiSync. Synchronisation with local servers is now even more stable, including during short interruptions or when clients have specific requirements.
