With this new release, entrepreneurs who currently create sales invoices in PDF format (e.g., via Word or Excel) have the option of sending these PDF invoices as e-invoices via Peppol. For this purpose, we are launching our 'PDF to UBL' conversion module. This is a highly requested feature because it allows you to maintain your own invoicing habits even in the era of e-invoicing.

Invoicing
'PDF to UBL' conversion module → Now upload a PDF sales invoice, convert it to an e-invoice (UBL), and then send it via Peppol. Because we will recognize the data in your PDF using OCR, and OCR technology isn't flawless, you, as an entrepreneur, will have the opportunity to check and correct the obtained data before sending it via Peppol. This is a great feature for entrepreneurs with few monthly sales invoices. But if you have, for example, about 100 per month, this checking and correction might be a bit cumbersome, and for those we recommend creating your sales invoices directly in OkiOki.
Duplicate or delete business units → In the previous release, we introduced the concept of business units. Today, thanks to the "Duplicate" function, you can create a new business unit based on an existing one. You can also delete new business units.
Use your linked mailbox only for sending invoices → You can now indicate that you only want to connect your mailbox to send sales invoices from your own email address. This prevents OkiOki from reading your mailbox (to retrieve purchase or sales invoices). Previously, GMAIL and Outlook users could already do this, but now this functionality is also available for users with an IMAP/SMTP mailbox connection.
Document Management
Combine multiple documents simultaneously into a single booking → Select multiple documents simultaneously in the 'All documents' list and combine them into a single booking with a single click. This is useful, for example, for combining multiple invoices paid in a single transaction.
Always a PDF preview of an e-invoice → Sometimes you receive an e-invoice without a PDF preview. OkiOki now automatically generates a PDF preview in such cases.
Jump to the first or last page of a document → In multi-page documents, you could scroll through the pages. Now you can also quickly jump to the first or last page.
Accounting Portal
Document transfer via Dropbox → Accountants who don't have a server can now connect to their Dropbox account in addition to OneDrive and receive their clients' documents in this Dropbox environment.
🔧 Improvements & Fixes
Add invoice lines → The units field is now wider, product suggestions are now alphabetical, SHIFT-TAB functionality for jumping backward between fields has been improved, etc.
Clearer explanation of why we cannot send a UBL invoice via Peppol → UBL sales invoices that you upload in OkiOki can be automatically sent via Peppol. However, sometimes a UBL invoice does not meet the correct conditions. In such an error, we now explain why this is the issue and refer you to a support page with more information.
Easier to recognize disconnected bank accounts → In your 'Bank accounts & cards' overview, your disconnected bank accounts are now easier to recognize. They are grayed out and appear at the bottom of the list.
Corrected 'To receive' and 'To pay' totals → OkiOki calculated the totals based on the total amounts of each invoice. Now it calculates totals based only on outstanding amounts.
Improved auto-matching based on structured message (OGM) → If a document and transaction have the same OGM, OkiOki will now always auto-match them, regardless of the setting whether these transactions should be tracked or not via your todo-list. For example, if you've specified in your settings that OkiOki should not track your sales invoices, it will still auto-match a sales invoice with the corresponding transaction.
We immediately convert SVG files to PNG → SVG files can be used to launch cyber attacks on web servers. Therefore, we now prevent SVG files from reaching our servers and will immediately convert them to PNG format upon upload (e.g., as a logo for your sales invoices).
Two credit card statements for the same credit card → If you uploaded two statements for the same card simultaneously, two credit card accounts were also created in your 'Bank accounts & cards' overview. That's now resolved.
Incorrect IBAN on sales offers → If you have multiple bank accounts, OkiOki always included the most recently added account on your sales offer. This has now been changed so that OkiOki always uses the IBAN you select in your invoicing settings for sales offers.
